phatfil, no it isn't. it's a modified oil separator for 03/04 Cobra motor. Bought it from SHM Sean Hyland Motorsports. They are two peice billeted aluminium with a screen.that screws apart. Had to buy some additional fitings to mate up to the PVC tube from Ford also bought another tube from Ford had to lengthen the tube cut to and spliced with a brasss splice fitting, also had to cut the nerled end of the fitting to connect a short peice of hose between it and the valve cover pipe that the original tube connected to. Not a cheap wap to go. 120bucks for the seperator and another twenty bucks for the second tube and fittings. But it works and there is no need to drain a collector because once the oil collects in the filter material it will drain right back into the valve cover just like the Cobra motors do.

Thanks Zoomer, looks like a real clean install, and I like the idea that it drains back into the valve cover. The WMS seems to be a great looking addition to the Saleen, did you have any problems with the fit or the tune on the Saleen. I really like the Canton overflow tank, everything makes for a nice engine bay. I've had my Saleen since July and zero problems so far, Brenspeed did the install and tune, its been a blast. My car is on his site under the media link, it's the black one on the dyno, also on the customer link I'm the guy from St.Louis, Missouri. Thanks for the response.

Zoomer do you think that intake is more efficient than the Steedaand the C&L?

I don't think there is much difference in theperformance from one to the other. One of mags did a comparisonbetween all the major CAI and a couplehp more or less between them all. I think people are reluctant to use the WMS is because of the need to splice the MAF wires to extend them.I didn't find any issues or problems with mine. Been running it for over two years started out with the CAI and stock 87 tune then bought a Benspeed Xcal with his tunes ran 93 oct never an issue with either. Then popped for the Saleen mainly because I could reuse the WMS CAI but had to replace the tube with the 95mm from WMS as it was maxout on the MAF sensor. I like the looks and proformance with both products.
Good Luck with your car. can't go wrong with Brenspeed products or tunes. He set me up at first with a tune for the Saleen then finally I went to local shop put it on the dyno and dailed it in. I/m happy no codes no problems.
