I idle at about 850rpms...its perfectly fine...if you start idling over 1K then you should be more concerned

ok thanks for the help everyone. if its not a big deal then i'm not going to worry about it. to answer the question what chip do i have- its the sct xcalibrator.
my only question is...does ilding a little higher than normal affect speed in 1st gear? I figured its not a big deal because I'm only idling 150-250 more rpm than most other stangs, but i wanted to ask anyway.
