i can't confirm it's 12vdc, but i'm pretty sure
it is.

now, the wiring guide calls the "resistor" a
Ignition Transformer Capacitor and the
description "Voltage supplied in Start and Run
(overload protected)" is the same description given
for pin 21 (Red-Yellow) in the SJB compartment.

summary: yes it should work, but use your own
good judgement when deviating from your install
manual.....
Just wired mine this way and works good, only runs when key is on. Does not run when on accessory. I had to buy a relay and aconnector for the pump.

This was way easier than taking wires into the inside SJB compartment.

i hate pulling the front wheels and
those liners, just to route wires
