What kind of gears do you have now? 3.31 or 3.55?

40-50 HP would be great...I didn't realize it would give me that much...Was thinking tune would give me 15-20...wasn't sure if you just add the HP together, example: 10 for the UDP, 10 for CAI, etc?

Steve
It doesn't quite work like that. The law of deminishing returns kicks in at a point. I think 40 to 50 is a safe estimate for CAI, Tune, CMDP, and UDP's. You may do better or a little worse depending onthe dyno and the car. Just remember not to get hung up on the numbers too much!

I'd forget about the throttle body unless you have a shop that can work with one. I have heard both ends of the arguement (some claim gaines some claim losses). However, the shop I use won't even mess with one. Made it a no brainer for me when I was NA.

The way I look at it is there are plenty of people running turbo and SC setups on the stock TB making big horsepower numbers. If the stock unit is good enough for their cars, then its good enough for my car.

my dealer has advised me against several modifications to my car...Say's Ford is a real stickler for modifications and warranty...

No to UDP, CMV plates, Tune, CAI....

Says exhaust, K&N filter in factory box, x pipe and 373 gears are okay...

Sounds like they're the ones that are sticklers about the warranty. Ford offers CMDP, an intake, and a tune through their performance parts catalog. And the Steeda UDP is an SFI approved direct replacement.

Go to a different dealer thats all.
My dealer installed my KB and other mods and they honor my warranty work.

They don't want to be, but say that can be fined for all warranty claims if something happens from a mod and they decide to look past it...Say auditor can come out and can be a big problem...

I saw the ford racing tuner and intake...Wasn't sure how this rated....I may do the ford racing stuff to keep the warranty until I hit the 36k...

Just because Ford offers mods doesn't mean that they won't void the warranty if you install those mods.
