tuner question...for those in the know
i just bought a saleen SC from a forum member and am being offered choice of pulley from factory to a 2.95. I have the stock block and am not planning on replacing block until i get thru the warrantee period(another 50k in miles). When it is time i will be doing a short block with forged internals. well my question is about future planning. If i get the 2.95 pulley can the tuner pull enough timing out to put the power within living range so i can make it to 70k miles. I know that is 15lb of boost but i want to see if i can plan ahead some...i know what is another 200 at that point but still.
yes i have a call into THR to talk to brian but the man is not there and is hard to get ahold of.

RE: tuner question...for those in the know
I would not get anything smaller than a 3.6 pulley with your stock fuel pump and stock block, also why would you want to run the smaller pulleyand put that much strain on your SC and riskshortening the life of itwithout running it's full boost potential. Most people I know that run a 3.0-2.8 are not used as daily drivers anymore but more or less track/trailerqueens, and also they have fully built motors, 60# injectors and fuel system such as the twin gt500 pumps.
