That is correct. And it makes it easy to run the cable up through the wheel well and through the grommit. When I get home tonight I can post pics.
That would be much appreciated thank you

Okay well mounting it in the midpipe is a bad idea. Instead of gettinga true reading of either bank you now have a combined reading. The main reason is thatthe O2 sensor need to be as close to the manifold or header as possible. This allows it to heat up quickly.
Any muffler shop can grind a hole and weld on a 7 dollar bung.
It must be in front of the cats if you are sporting them.

Not sporting any cats....so I guess the best place is where the o2 sensor is on the passenger side?

I was always told on the drivers side, and like i stated you can put it in the rear O2 bung already there. This is the same unit i bought and he is an install on a prev gen mustang

All I know is my tuner tuned my car for an 11.5 WOT and thats what my gauge reads at WOT. So I think it's very accurate there.

The left hand side normally will run leaner than the right i beleive, therefore if using 1 gauge, the drivers side should be monitored

I wasn't sure what side. When I asked someone, they had said to use the side where with the fuel rail that is the return side of the system. I thought I followed and determined to be the passenger side. I may have got that wrong. I don't think it will be a big problem as there is no way I am doing that job again.[8D]
