how many people around here are running 12-14psi on a SCd GT
and what mods are done to your motor/tranny?

got biten by the mod bug again and looking for some inspiration/motivation.

So far the only mods I have planned for 08 GT when I get it is intake,exhaust,gears/tune and that's about it until the big SC mod..pretty sure 8-9psi would do me just fine for a while but just want to get a picture of what the potential is.

what are you guys putting to the wheels @ those psi #s? 520-540?

Either 1 out of 2...

1. They have a close relationship with God and prevent their engine from blowing.
2. Forged internals

At 12-14 psi with a custom tune they should see +500 rwhp

+1 and for the record, 534rwhp is the record, I believe, for a 10psi whippled s197 with full exhaust and dyno tune.

I'm a little skeptical of those numbers after seeing the 20 inch rims in the video.

Anything over 10 psi will require a forged rotating assembly to operate safely. That seems to be the golden rule on these forums.

I believe Doc AKA "Hawgman" has over 500rwhp with his 10psi pulley and saleen. I know he has posted his sheet before and it was over 500 rwhp with the 3.4 pulley. ....

I have been at 11 PSI on my KB for 5000 miles.
Tranny is beefed up. Stock rotating assembly.
