Default PLEASE HELP - Any advise welcome

Ok, In october I bought an 08 GT 5 speed. From the very first day it didn't seem to have the power that others I had drivin would produce, not too concerned because at that point it was far from "broke-in". Biggest of my concerns were that it had an occasional knock that was only noticable at idle. From under the car it sounds like it comes from the rear main area. It is consistant with the revolutions but comes and goes as it pleases, cant find a way to make it start or stop. At around 500 miles I put on the C&L racer intake, off-road x-pipe and tuned it with the DiabloSport pre-loaded tune. Noticed a nice gain right away but the knock continued exactly how it was. I just hit 3500 miles and all hell is breakin loose. Friday night in 3rd gear once I hit about 4000 rpm it started missing really bad. It even sounded like it was igniting / explodingin the exhaust. After I cooled myself down, drove easy and ran that gas out. I decided to push it even harder on a fresh tank of true 93. Fuel definatly wasn't the problem, it still does it and at one point the engine light did flash for a bit, but I couldn't get it to stay on. When I disconnect the cam timing sensors it seems to run stronger but still misses terribly. Should I just run it in the ground and let warranty cover it? Oh,, and both of my local dealers are NOT concerned about the mods. I have already visited both about the original knock, and of coarse it never did it while standing there with them, (lol - the car must know when we are there and likes to make me look like an a__.!!!! ) So anyway,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,please help.

So you took it to the dealer and they couldn't find the problem? I would just wait until you get another check engine light then plug in your Predator and read the code. Even though I bet it would just be your 02 sensors because of the O/R pipe.

That was my first guess but then I found out that the rear 2 sensors do not effect the operation of the car, they just keep an eye on the cats. Also, it was knocking before the pipe.
