its easy to make close to 500rwhp with the stock block (gets shaky after that)

Heres a list of my buds mods and hes running 491rwhp on a dynojet
axel back FRPP
FRPP strut tower brace
FRPP Lowering springs
FRPP 3.73 gears
Racing Girdle
BBK Throttle body 62mm
93octane tune
short throw hurst
Paxton novi 2200 SC

just out of curiosity, how does a SC GT fare against the new Z06s??

no contest. i read about one guy that ran a 10.98 fully stock on stock tires in a new Z06... you need a lot of mods besides an S/C to touch that. they'll run low 11's all day.

a stock z06 pumps out 505 hp out of a 427 with 470 torque, the redline is around 7200.

their 0-60 time is 3.7, that's where they get you

what do you all think about these two kits?
(about $5000)
and this one? (about $5600)

I know the 2nd one is supposed to spool alot quicker but why does the 1st one claim higher whp then the 2nd? though cost less??
Different boost levels, different boost efficiency, different intercooling. The Paxton (centrifugal) is slightly more efficient in the higher boost range. the Paxton doesn't change the intake; the Saleen requires it's own custom intake manifold, which costs extra.

Yes the advertised claims are true. I have Prochargers 10psi HO kit. Suppose to be roughly 540hp at the crank. On their Mustang Dyno, my car hit 459rwhp through an automatic. According to the dyno sheet, intake air temp was 91 degrees. Only other mods are 3" Magnapak exhaust and BBK headers.

Oh yeah, I sell them too!

Where they get you is their weight! If I could drop about 400lbs off my car i'd be golden!

^ lol, weight is such a determining factor in so many aspects

i was reading a magzine and it said want to greatly improve your car's driveability, put it on a diet and shed some pounds. lol that was it. i certainly believe it because it's only logic that less weight will make it easier to lug around and easier to do the bird thing and fly too low. haha
