Default B&M manual shifter

Before I get flamed, yes I have used the search function but it seems to be out of order.

I am looking for reviews of this shifter from other forum members. Do you like it? Has it been reliable? Any negatives with it?

I don't think it's available yet.

General thoughts on it: Ugly as hell.

The B&M manual shifter is available, are you referring to the B&M automatic shifter, which I don't believe is available yet.

I am referring to the manual short throw shifter. I believe it is also sold as a FRPP short throw shifter. Late Model Resto has the FRPP unit for 179.95. For a Daily Driver, I thought this might be a good choice.

He is asking for B&M, NOT MGW. There are other shifters out there besides MGW and many (actually all are very good!).

I just installed the B&M short throw in my car. I like the shifter, much shorter throw, more precise than stock, much more solid feel. I have no complaints at all. I bought mine through the classified ad on this site for $125 shipped and it was new in the box. So I think I got a great deal.

I swear to god I'm going to pistolwhip the next person that say MGW in a thread having nothing to do with MGW.

I will never buy an MGW shifter now, because the word annoys me too much. We get it. It's a great shifter. But some people like the notchiness and retro look of other shifters. I thought eventually I might try the MGW on one of mine, just for kicks. But not now. Unless the thread asks for which shifter is recommended, I don't want to hear about MGW.
