Default Heads Porting price range

Just want to ask what would be the price to port and polish my heads and maybe a valve job. i plan to call a couple of machine shops and see what they say about it but i want to know what u guys has seen. thanks guys

I'd say that it'd be around $600-800 for your GT... not sure about a valve job.

If I had to guess... maybe another $300 dollars but i'm not even sure about that. I can't remember. Reason I know is because I used to work inside of a performance shop where they did alot of this. I wasn't a mechanic lmao. I did graphic installations for vehicles and wraps for cars so I don't know too much technical price range data...

Ive talked to a coulde of good machine shops and its between 1400-1600 for a bowl port and blend with a valve job.

This is closer to what I payed but my buddy owned the shop. Don't forget the 3V Roller follower and Lifter Kit too..

there is guy close by chargin me 1200 for the port and poslish job and the valve job. doing the 3 angle something and making sure all the ports has the same CCs he said. thats the first one i talk to and he just did my friends 302 heads, they look really nice
