Hello,

I went to have my Ford Racing X pipe installed on my 2007 Ford Mustang GT and it would not fit. We followed the directions and it is offset and will not line up.

Wondering if anyone has experienced this? Solution?

Yes, I've installed two and had problems with both. I found it easier to remove the h-pipe from the car to install the x. You could first try to loosen one side, two nuts, and rotate the pipe from the exhaust manifold inwards to align everything.

We followed the instructions to the T...The pipe doesn't line up though...It is not centered. Almost like the bend is not the same. We loosened the bolts at the cat and tried to rotate it, but it did not work. It would not line up and center.. hey welded the factory h pipe back in place and now the exaust tips are crooked and one sticks out further then the other...

Manufacturing defect maybe? Try to get a replacement? I had Midas install mine since I wanted it welded and there was no such problem during the install.

I heard the Ford Racing X pipe is a piece of junk! Sorry to you that have it.
