Default Which mods reduce low end torque?

Mods that reduce torque:

O/R X pipe
Delete plates

Any others?

Mods that increase low end torque:

Gears
Stroker
Twin screw

Any others?

Just wondering if I do delete plates and LTs that I will bottom out the low end torque and push the power band to well above 3K, which would be a disappointment as even with the 4.10s the X pipe took away enough for me to not want anymore losses down low.

I can't find it anymore, but I remember seeing some before and after dyno graphs of delete plates and tune. Basically, they showed that there was no loss of torque, it showed an increase across the whole rev range.

That's interesting because I think Brenspeed lists the delete plates with a disclosure that is reduces low end torque, I could be wrong though.

I'm sure he does, as do many other places that have them. I should have been more clear in my last post, I wasn't trying to say that the do not reduce low end torque. I installed my delete plates and upgarded from a canned Diablosport tune to a Bamachips tune at the same time, so I noticed a huge difference. Most of that was probably the tune.

Cams and rearend gears will have the greatest impact on low end vs high end torque. Less lift and duration will give you more low end, higher lift and longer duration will give you more top end. Gears and cams need to be matched to get you in the right power band.

so a 2-5hp low end but you gain 10-15 medium to top end?
