STS owners - Single or twin
I'm about 90% sold on the STS kit. Mainly just to be a little different. Not knocking all the Lysholm (twin screw), centi, or traditional turbo kits, just want to do something a little different than the norm. My question comes from most of the reading I've been doing on this board. It seems that most folks that go with the single kit are happy with it, but eventually wish they had done the twin setup from the get-go. So, knowing what you know now, would you spend the extra on the twin setup, or save the $$$ and upgrade the suspension or something. For now, my goal is 425-450rwhp, but the bug may bite me to build the engine for more ponies in the future and the twins will already be in place. STS is offering some pretty good incentives right now, and even free install if I'm willing to make the 6-8 hour drive to Utah.
Also, any point to swapping the stock exhaust manifold or H-pipe? I know the turbo is the biggest restriction in the exhaust, but by my reasoning, better flow upstream wouldget the turbos spooling faster. Peak output may not change, but a faster spool might be worth the cost of parts.....just have to consider traction at that point I guess.

RE: STS owners - Single or twin
if you plan on having the money later for a built engine, fuel upgrade, tranny upgrade(clutch, flywheel), etc... Then buy the twins. But if your plan is 450rwhp then just go with the single kit and buy mine
Drive to Utah and i'll help you install it for free too. I live 40mintues away from STS
