Welcome to the Forum. I'd advise you to get another Brand of CAI...Some of the Better one's are C&L, JRT,Airaid to nome a few, K&N is one of the lesser used one's by members of this Forum. Also unless you already bought it, I think the SCT Tuner would be a better choice. Hang around the Forum or use the "Search" Feature for some of your ?'s.

+1

I have Brenspeed's Steeda CAI and 93 octane tune, and I LOVE it! Best thing I've done for the car to date. Should have done it the same day I bought it.

i just ordered the DeMolet CAI and XCAL2 from Brensepeed, i'll let you know how it goes. basically, you want to get an intake that requires a tune or else you aren't going to get much.

+1 - The key thing you want is the combination of a good CAI and a 'custom' tune. This is how you awaken those hidden ponies. You can get this combo from Brenspeed, Bamachips.com, C&L directly and a few others. If you don't purchase from one of these you will probably get a 'canned' tune, more generic, less smiles. A 'custom tune' is one that was developed on the dyno for the combination of your car's computer version and other mods you may have. Read up on this at brenspeed.com.

Very happy with my Steeda CAI and SCT tune from Brenspeed. Definately a do-it-yourself upgrade.

Bingo, same setup as Margarita Girl with a 93 tune. Installed it with my 9-year old son in maybe an hour. took me that long cause after I got it on there and took a pic I found out that I wanted to hide the adjuster screws on the hose clamps as much as possible.
