is it a popular mod with the gt?? have it on my srt-4 and it sounds ridiculously awesome..and frees up a good ammount of hp as well...

not sure if NA motors need some back pressure compared to FI ones like the skittle with the
turbo and all..

I could only imagine how insane it would be on GT..especially with a SC..yikes lol.

it is insane.
My bassani cats just drop off my longtubes, and I run like that at the track every now and then.
even shoots flames on the shifts
but it is so loud you have to yell inside if you wanna say anything to the passenger.

ditto..I used to shoot out fireballs out of my cut out,it would light up underneath my car lol.
the GT must be nutts with it on there.

Don Whittaker has run electric cut outs with this KB blown S197 for over a year...

My buddy has cutouts....it is so ungodly loudIt sounds like a freakin' John Force drag car or something.

it's an exhaust cut out that opens up the exhaust from the pipe directly after the headers,you can get it with or without cats..NO restrictions at all with it open and it's loud as hell.Also known as a dump pipe or open headers.The only time I will get is after the basic mods,headers,tune and 4:10s just to get some decent power to the ground..nothing is more ridiculous than having a car
that's loud enough to wake the dead but simply not as ferocious as it's sound lol.[:-][:-][:-]

my srt-4 sounds CRAZY with it,the turbo spool whistles soo loudly and during WOT it snaps and
pops like a shotgun! fireballs and all! lol

You can get them electric like my friend Don has. Then, it's only loud when you flip the switch and want it to be.

i have heard of leaks and sometimes flutter from the little flap that opens and closes,as well as mechanical problems with the motor/wire that controls it.
mine is an open/close with a metal lid/bolts and flange.it's such a pain in the butt to open and close lol.If I get one for the GT though its definetly going to be the e-cut out! not fun with opening one cut out..can only imagine TWO of them lol.
