cleaning the boomtubes
so i cleaned the boomtubes inside and out w/ mother's chrome cleaner and some elbow grease. the insides were filthy, all dark brown, and i still gotta clean it somemore maybe w/ the cordless drill and cleaning ball. but w/ about 5 min per boomtube it came out pretty good, take a look:

Oh, thats unfortunate. I got the needle-bearing version
Go to your auto store and buy some metal polish thats in a blue container, and has a shiny, sparkely label.
All ya gotta do is dab some on, wait 5 minutes and rub off. Everything bad is removed
