just hit 31,000miles on it.... I reflashed it... Still came up after a short while... Im gonna try the spark plug change... I hope that will help.. When you say clean the MAF... Are you talking about the achually sensor I had to screw on the CAI? And does the break-cleaner ruin the sensor? (Im just a nervous wreck thinking my motor is gonna die out on me) I hate asking newbie questions... I feel like I jsut bought the car..

-John
Yes the mass air flow sensor in the intake tube. Just shoot brake cleaner through it for 2 seconds and let it air dry(brake cleaner evaporates quickly and won't leave a residue). Removing the spark plugs after 31,000 miles might not be that easy. I pulled mine at 10k and didn't have a problem.

HA, I think you should be glad your not the only one dealing with this crap, lol. When your car starts to idle weird and you get the engine light, do you get a strong fuel smell?

How do I turn off my rear 02 sensors? Im running the stock tune.
idk if you can turn them off on the stock tune. what kind of tuner you got?
You can't change anything on the stock tune. Only way to shut them off with stock tune would be the mil eliminators.

I could understand that would smell anyway but the smell got a lot stronger when the light came on right?

the pcm is probably dumping more fuel to try and compensate for the lean condition.

Be sure to check for an exhaust leak before the O2 sensor. Since the OP has longtubes (it would help if everyone put their mods in their sig) maybe a header bolt back out causing air to get into the exhaust system.
