i looked at this option very carefully
initially.....i just thought the air intake
would rub on it (best scenario)

i thought about heating the tube with a torch and
bending that area in a little for more clearance, but
in the end, just went with the cross over line option

You could always buy new fuel rails.......many are tapped already for a sending unit?
I'll see what Lethal suggests tomorrow when I get my gauges and such.
