That would be great. I actually won't be able to get to my install until the first weekend in February.. The blower should be in next Tues or Weds (Brent said they were shipping it today - along with a T-shirt (w00t! Free stuff! LOL)), but Saturday the 19th - Sunday the 27th I'm traveling for work.. :-(

Hammy - OT - I caught in a diff post you were a network guy - what do you work on?

Eh, firewalls aren't my problem, those are GNO (Global Net Ops). I'm more server-side and LAN (2k, 2k3, 2k8, Exchange, SQL, Citrix VMware ESX, and Cisconetwork and fiber switchedcatalyst 45xx, catalyst 65xx, MDS95xx)..

I'll look for the SOS pod, but if you could by some stroke of god dig up a link, that'd be mucho appreciated..

Pics - yeah, I bought a nice dSLR late last season.. I'll get some good ones. Hopefully I'll be able to do a Taco-Bill style write-up on it since I'll be taking my time. But I don't know, that guy is pretty thorough, I don't know if I could match that level of detail.. LOL

I installed the heat exchanger for my Whipple system without removing the front cover.
Not sure about the Saleen though.

I just jacked up one of the front wheels. Put a ramp under the tire and let it back down.
There was plenty of room to lay under the front and slide the heat exchanger in.
There's a plastic cover you have to remove first.
Then I just spread the front cowl open a bit and slid the thing in...

Damn... LOL

Anyone else? Bueller... Bueller...

Cool, good to know. I'll definitely give it a shot. Not that it matters (I don't think), but which side did you jack up? Driver or passenger?

You don't have to remove the bumper but it is ALOT easier if you do. It only takes about 10 minutes to get the bumper cover off, it's really not a big deal at all and it weighs virtually nothing. IF you don't remove it you'll be bending and pulling other plastic stuff and scraping your forearms on sh&*t and cursing through most of it. Do it once, do it easy, do it right.

A very compelling argument you make there.. I may just have to do that. It'd be a good time to install black corner lenses, too.. Hrmm....
