Default Rim and Tire Size Question

If i was the run a 19 inch rim with a shorter sidewall size tirecould I find a combination that is similar to my stock 18 inch rim and tire size? Just curious because a set of rims I like only come in 19 inch or larger. Thanks in advance.

Give me the size of your 18" tires and I will tell you what size 19" tire will give you the same height.

Your stock tires are 27.25 tall to use a 19" wheel you want to get 255-40-19 (27.13) on the front and 295-35-19 (27.03) on the rear. Hope this helps.

A 235/45/19 is 27.3 inches in diameter. Same size as your stockers.

I forgot to add that you need 8" wheels on the front and 10" on the rear.

I have 19" and I have run 285/35 19 (back) 245/40 19 (front) I am now running 275/40 19 (back) 245/45 19 (front) either was close enough to the stock 27" that my spedo was only off by 1mph. My car only has Roush rear lowering springs and I did not like the way 285/35 looked way to much gap in the wheel well. the 275/40 have a smoother ride (more side wall) and fill the wheel wells perfectly.
