those r great #'s for ur mods. most 3v mustangs dyno between 255-275 rwhp. give me hope with a cold air and a tuner i'll be over 300 rwhp

I've had mine dynoed twice. The higher of the two was 301.5 HP and 309.8 TQ.

Ok im new here and just recentlly decided to save up for a 2006 mustang GT. I thought they came w/ 300 hp stock.

300 hp number is not "rear wheel". Dyno's check rear wheel numbers.

For an automatic around 250 rwhp is the starting point, for manual 260. Those of course are going to vary according to dyno's, conditions, etc.

Suffice it to say the rear wheel number will be lower then the advertised crank number.

Having said all that.....yeah those are good numbers for that investment! I'd be happy![sm=happybounce.gif]

His said 297 rear wheel horsepower is roughly equivalent to 340 brake horsepower. So the tune and x-pipe alone gave him roughly 40 more bhp.
