For those that don't know I drove my car throw a ****** wire fence just for fun. The final estimate is $8,000. That's more than double the initial one. They're telling me 2 more weeks till it's done, but atleast they are removing the spoiler.

and yes, it sucks...did that in the middle of summer, was without it for 3 1/2 weeks...didnt do ****** wire...but none the less...i feel for you...

I was supposed to get mine back today, after the tree incident before new years. But we are coaxing our new baby out instead. I know, why am I on here, she is on the epidural and calling family.

No write up, but I knew they were going to replace the front bumper and hood at the very least. Neither of those were on the original estimate. They told me the tabs were ripped off on the rear bumper so they need to replace it as well, plus it had a small hole in it anyway. I think most of it is additional labor. when it's all said and done they will probably total it.

that sucks.....i say get the bumpers from newtakeoff and install yourself.....cost is like maybe $500-600 total for those.....hood is 700 from ford i think, new takeoffmight have that color, dont know for sure....either way 8K is alot!

man, i know how it feels. mine was in the shop for 5 weeks. i hope insurance is covering that... $8K out of pocket wouldn't be too fun.
