does anyone here have any input or comments on the magnaflow magnapack exhast for our cars??? Does it sound good?? I ask this cuz magnaflow is a big brand name but i never hear any1 talk or mention it. I know its popular with the 2v & 4v.

I have the Magnapak Magnaflows with X pipe. It's loud and drones a lot anywhere near 2000 rpm. Even with installed resonators, it still drones too much around 2000 rpm's. I'm thinking of going back to the regular Magnaflows, if that will reduce the droning.

Sound is very deep and has drone around 2 rpm. I dont think it is too loud.Got much louder after the supercharger though. I always wanted slps but they never came out with a catback system.

Why did you want a catback instead of a axle back? How loud do you think it would be with longtubes and a o/r x? Are the magnapack mufflers or resenators?

i've heard the magnapacks w/ o/r x and stock manifolds on a mach 1 in person, and it sounded pretty good. not too loud at idle, but at WOT was really mean!! i believe they are straight thru mufflers, catback system.
