I've tried both the 91 and 93 octane tune from Brenspeed and both are great BUT at WOT I can clearly hear the 'knocking' or detonation sound and sometimes not! how is this possible? to my knowledge if there is a problem causing detonation it will remain there all the time, but in my casesometimes itknocksand sometimes itdoesn't

Has anyone experienced something similar?

mine even happens with the 87 tune and only happens when the car is cold. when it doesnt happen, is your car warmed up?

No, it doesn't make any difference whether the engine is cold or warmed up

I haven't had any problems with my tune. Call Brenspeed and talk to them. they'll work with you and maybe send you a new tune that has the timing at WOTdialed back some.

You can dial back the timing with SCT, I've done it with mine and also richened up the fuel side as well. Every car is just a little different.
