Not to change the subject, but do you have any problem with torque bind when shifting?

I used to have problems with torque bind on the 2-3. Then I got the MGW. Problem solved, 110%.

Plus, the shifts are SO short now I don't even have to lift my arm off the console to get through all 5 gears. Literally, it's like 1.75" from front to back for any gear. I LOVE it! One of my favorite mods by far.

How do you like that Spec 2+? I'm gonna have to swap my clutch out soon, I'm sure, so I'm currently doing clutch homework.. Did you get the aluminum flywheel with it, or just resurface the factory one?

To the OP - sorry, but this thread sucked anyway.

MGW solved the problem? Wow I may have to try that. I have tried the hurst and Pro5.0 and am back with the stock shifter, I have also installed the CHE k-member brace with torque limiters which has helped some. Anyways as for the Spec's II I have the Spec's II + and the aluminum flywheel, it drives pretty nice similiar to stock holds the power just fine. My only complaint is that it chatters in reverse sometimes and it makes this horrible sound once in awhile when taking off in first, it happens just as the clutch is hitting the fly wheel. I had a different mech listen to the sound he said not to worry about it, it is probably happening because the aluminum flywheel is a small diameter than the stock steel and the dumb a$$es who installed it for me did not shim it, and that it should go away once the clutch gets some additional wear. Would I buy it again probably. BTY I am the only person that I know of that is having any issues with the Spec's.
