Default O/R xpipe

This may sound stupid what exactly is the Off Road mean. I just got an Xpipe welded on yesterday is'nt that an O/R Xpipe? Or am i mistaken. Also if this is'nt an O/R Xpipe will it still add HP.

How do you do no cat's without throwing the car into safe mode or having any check engine lights come on? Does a catted xpipe add any hp.

Like Nickelz said O/R simply means off-road which inturn means no cats. To tell if your midpipe has no cats simply look under the chasis to see. If your midpipe has a rectangular box that it runs into and out of then it is catted, but if there is just pipe from your headers to the axle then you have O/R pipe. To answer your other question yes, a catted Xpipe will add some additional HP. The main difference between O/R Xpipe and Catted Xpipe is how loud they are. The cat tends to somewhat muffle the exhaust and you don't get as much sound as you would with an O/R pipe.

Yeah but wont that throw your check engine light on if you run with no cat's. How can you get away with that.

Mil eliminators, or a tune that disables your o2 sensors.
