BamaChips 87 Octane Performance Tune
Wow! I ordered the "BamaChips 87 Octane Performance Tune" yesterday and got it this morning while at work.I couldn't wait, so I loaded thetune during my (early) lunch break.The difference between thestock tune, the canned DiabloSport Predator 87 Octane Performance tuneI was running, and the BamaChips 87 Octane Performance Tune ishuge (even though I do not yet have a CAI).We all know what the stock tune was like. The DiabloSport tune was much better, but had, in my opinion, some rough edges. This tune from BamaChips, however, is awesome and is exactly what I was looking for daily driving (I drive to and from work 61 miles each way Mon - Fri). Unfortunately, on my lunch break, I did not make it to the highway, but idle, take off, acceleration, etc..., everythingwas much better than before - all with no rough edges (e.g., rough idle).As I said, I live61 miles from work, so I will get the highway action (hopefully without traffic)in a couple of hours. My thanks to Doug and the folks at BamaChipsfor the work they do.[/align]

You also see improved gas mileage right? My daily drive isn't as far as yours but it is still quite a ways. Something to put me at the gas pump less frequently is always a plus, and I could get the tune before the CAI, like you did.

Congrats on your tune! Glad you like it. I'm currently running the 87 Performance Tune in my car, but I've got the JLT CAI. I got his 93 Race tune for my track days. I love it!
