Default Back in the saddle again!!

Finally got the car back minus the stripes and the spoiler. For those that don't know I hit a puddle with my drag radials on and lost control, hit some ****** wire and scratched the shiot out of my car.

Fresh paint is really nice.

here's the before picture

Since I can't find the street tires I want for the rear, i might move up to an 18 inch bullit rim in the back. Anyone think that will look stupid? I do like the stock spoiler from the back, but from the side I prefer the no spoiler or a ducktail. I'm going to restripe it, look to plain now.

Congrats on getting it back looks niceI am sure it feels good!

On the wheels I had wanted 18" chrome deep dish bullits on the back and and non deep dish bullits on the front butI couldn'tget them that way in 18's. The only way was to run 18' chrome DD bullits on the back and chrome17's non DDon the front, I almost did it to be honest as I like that look DD on the rear vs Non DD in the front.

So anyway I do have a picture of my old Black S197 but with 17's stock bullits on the front and 18 DD in chrome on the rear as I just wanted to see what it look like size wise you knowit didn't look bad at allsize wise Ikind of liked it.

If you want see itlmk I can dig up that picture and post it.

Well I like the taller/wider tire in the back, i'm not concerned about rotation. The problem is there are only two options of tires for 17's that are taller. Both are 275/50/17's and neither is that great according to reviews.[:'(]

I should say there is nothing in a 27 inch diameter that is wider than 255. I want atleast 275 in the back. Traction is a real problem with the stock tires and i'm not sure a 255/50/17 will be much help. I could go up to a 275/55/17 which is 28.9 inches tall.

Dig it up! Was that a photoshop or did you actually have 18's in the rear?
