Default JLT2/Brenspeed 93

Well, I guess I'll add y review of the JLT2/93 tune to the one's already on this site.

I got myorder today, took about a week and half from ordering it for it arrive, so not too bad. Installation is super easy, only 30 minutes max, and that includes getting my tools from the basement. Installing the tune takes 3-4 minutes the first time. It is pretty foolproof, just follow the instructions on the screen.

Impression's:
1. Throttle response is much improved with all tunes (87,91,93). I quickly went to the 93 octane tune!
2. It does seem to have more power. The best way I can describe it is the car seems "lighter" and more willing/able to spring forward when provoked. The increased throttle response seems to get the car up into the "sweet spot" quicker.
3. The car does pull noticeably harder.

My final analysis would be this: If you are expecting supercharger type performance, you will be disappointed. BUT, there is a definite performance gain from this modification. Absolutely worth the 500 bucks for a car that performs so much better for only 30 minutes worth of work. I would highly recommend this intake/tuner package.

I agree, I just installed the same setup this evening. I haven't had the chance to test it on teh freeway yet, will be doing that tomorrow morning. Congrats!

Not the same brand tune but I got a solid 4/10 and 3 mph. Ive personally seen an Automatic Car pick up 6/10.[sm=jawdrop.gif]
Again a different brand tune but Im sure Brent knows what hes doing.

Gene,

I've seen some of your times, impressive. I'm not that good, but it's nice to know the potential is there for that kind of improvement. It definitely feels faster.

My JLT2 intake was also installed today along with a tune from a local shop. The car runs much smoother and has a noticeable increase in power, this mod was worth every penny.

CAI + tune = most "performance bang for the buck"for these cars

Just put a JLTCAI on my 07 GT today also. Different tune (SCT). Runs great. I was surprised at the difference, particularly around 3000 RPMs.
