Ok I want to get all the supporting mods before I get the supercharger itself.
Suspension, wheels, tires, maybe full exhaust.

My question is, what are all you supercharged guys running for tires? What Brand, xxx/xx/xx.

I guess I should elaborate more.
What do you guys run...
A. On the street
B. At the track

I am mostly wanting to know what you guys run on the street, and what your impressions are of the tires. I want something I can use in the rain and still have good traction in the dry.

no track tires, since no track visits...daily driver...kumho ecsta 255/45/18..actually a very good tire for the price...traction is there to a point....they corner great and are a great tire with the high heat and rainy season of fla...I thought of getting drag radials, but quickly reminded myself...duh, why, I don't drag race...next tire I will invest in a wider rear [275/40/18] and abetter more tackier not so ridged tire, but again being in fla it has to be a good all weather tire...

The stock 18" BFG's on the street, will have DR's very soon for the track, probably MT's.

This is a great question. I am hoping to go Whipple in the near future. I'd like to add....

Would a 275/40-18 be OK for primarily street driving (I have the stock 3.55s in the rear). Also since I have to go to a bigger tire, what's the biggest you can put on a 18x9 rim, is 275 the biggest ??

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I'm been wondering this same thing.

If you check out the tirerack.com site they will give you a very good rating of tires. My point of view is why pay for the name when you could pay less and get the same traction. That is just me.
