C&L vs JLT2 Intakes

RE: C&L vs JLT2 Intakes
I used the JLT on my old 05 V6 and I was happy with it except on the V6 it had a little clearance issue and the filter rubbing. But i have yet to see anyone complain about that anymore so its either the JLT or BBK when i tune mine in a few months.

My Dad has a C&L on his. Personally I think the C&L is the better choice. Only because you can buy that sleeve adapter to fit inside the MAF area. Basically turning it into a stock diameter so you run the stock program.
Only usefull if your taking the car to the dealer. I fear everytime I take it in they'll flash the computer with an update. I'd be hosed if I didn't return it to stock.

I went through the same debate. I finally decided on a JLT on the recommendation from the "Mustang Guru" at CJ Pony Parts who has been modifying Mustangs for years. He recommended JLT so I bought 2, one for me and one for my son's 2004 GT. They are great...not to say the C&L is not good also. Bottom line...I am very happy with the JLT.

Was on the fence also with those two choices. There was a write up last year on the top 12 CAI's in some mag - C&L won, and had the most HP gain, so I went with that. Maybe a little more money, but worth it....no regrets.
