Default C&L vs JLT2 Intakes

Ok all, a response to my last thread inspired me to start gathering opinions on which CAI is a better deal for the price

Brenspeed.com is pushing the C&L CAI w/ tune for $659 and the JLT2 w/ tune for $554.

Please speak of your experiences with either system.

Thanks.

From what I've heard the JLT you get better performance (+2hp) but I like the look on the metal intake. That why I got the BBK, $600. But all intake are going to give you the pretty much the same gain. Go with one you like the looks of the most with how much you want to spend.

I had the same question, so I called Brenspeed and asked them. According to the guy I talked to (Seth), the performance is about the same from all of them. It mainly boils down to cosmetic preference. The real power gains are in the tune anyway. I went with the JLT2 and saved a little money.
