Default $5000-$10000 for upgrades (better cheaper)

Hey, I got an 06' convertible and I was wondering what the best upgrades I could do for $5000-$7500. I'm looking for the best acceleration I could get. I don't want to exceed 600RWHP or 600RW ft.pound torque. I guess I could install a supercharger like the Brenspeed Saleen Stage 4 one, looks pretty nice, but would I need to get more upgrades to support the new horsepower (such as a new clutch). I'm also open to any good supercharger that does at least 500RWHP and 475RW torque (maybe with some other upgrades that fit the price range nicely). I'm a big n00b w/ cars (well, not really, but at least compared to you guys), so I don't know much. I'm thinking these upgrades would get me around 550RWHP or something like that:
Super/Turbocharger:
BRENSPEED STAGE 4 540+ FLYWHEEL HP $6428+$650
Camshafts :
Brenspeed 05-08 MUSTANG NSR CUSTOM 3V CAM SET $645
Water Pump:
Meziere WP346 Ford 4.6L Modular Waterpump: $335
Clutch and Flywheel:
Ford Mustang GT 05-07 4.6L GT Stage 3 SPEC Clutch and Flywheel: $525
Driveshaft:

One Piece Aluminum Driveshaft 3.5" Dynotech $730

Underdrive Pulley:
Steeda Underdrive Pulleys: $200
This would cost roughly $8900, but give me good horsepower and would support all the power. Is there a better way to get the horsepower that's cheaper, would be able to support the horsepower, and would not give me problems? Thanks a lot!

with that price range, i would stay around 450 rwhp and still use the stock block, bc upgrading internals is gonna go over your budget. but that just gives you a reason to do more mods later. i believe the stage 4 they recommend forged internals and that would be a good idea. 450 rwhp is a beast on the street, and you add gears that will make the low end really good. the brenspeed saleen kits are very good from what i hear. there are a lot of good SC out there, just depends on what you desire.

The Saleen kit is great. I don't know your reasons for being so stuck on 500, but trust me, the 435 mine makes is MORE than enough to have fun with around town.

The customer service at Brenspeed is TOP NOTCH (do a search for my thread about my install when I went out there), and they pay for a hotel room if you drive out for their professional, one-day installation.

I still have the stock clutch, but I'm fully expecting to have to replace it by the end of this season. You're also going to want wider, stickier rubber, and at the very least some new lower control arms to help with traction.

You're also probably going to get quite a few guys on here telling you to get a centrifugal supercharger instead of a twin-screw. You need to ask yourself where you want to power to come in.. The TS blowers will start making power almost immediately, whereas with the centri's there's a slight lag while they "spool up".. You can see which choice I made.

Aside from that, go to it, and enjoy!!!

Whoa, now we've gone from $5k-7500 to $5k-9k?

Anyway.. A couple things:

You do NOT want to run underdrive pullies with a blower. Why? You'll underdrive the blower pulley, which will make less power.. DUH!

The price you have listed for the clutch/driveshaft - unless you're going to do the installs, you need to add some money there. And, you'll need to find out what Brent's install price is for the cams..

AND - unless you are planning on doing some bottom-end work, you'd better scale it back a bit there, bud, or you're going to have connecting rods all over your garage floor...

Your DEFINITELY gonna wanna do some suspension stuff with all that power. Power means nothing unless you can make it stick to the ground.

Suspension and Saleen... the way to go! That is where I'm headed after the suspension is done.

Ok. I guess I'm gonna do the Brenspeed Stage 4 Saleen supercharger kit. Will it give me 450RWHP and/or 500+ Flywheel HP (because it says it can HANDLE 540+, it doesn't say it has it though). What suspension upgrades should I do? Should I get 4.10 gears? (It's a manual) Here's what I think I should get in the mean time (unless any of you disagree):
Super/Turbocharger:
BRENSPEED STAGE 4 540+ FLYWHEEL HP $6428+$650 installation
Camshafts :
Brenspeed 05-08 MUSTANG NSR CUSTOM 3V CAM SET $645+ Installation (probably $1000)

So this would be like $7078(Supercharger)+$1645(Camshaft)=$8718 including installation
What HP/Torque should I expect to get with that? (RW and Flywheel) I don't race on tracks or do quater miles, just drive it around, but I guess suspension would help (as you guys have said and I've also heard of it being really slippy) I could try to install myself but I don't know how because I'm not a mechanic. Brenspeed looks like a really good place to do this though. Should I get a full suspension kit or just like lower control arms. Also, since it's recommended to get a forged block, should I get it or would it be too expensive? I would spend aMAX of $10000 (including installation unless it's extremely easy)

Lets put it this way - I have the Stage TWO, and I make ~435 RWHP. Stage 4, in all reality, I would expect somewhere up like 475-480rwhp at the least, but that's just me.

Either way, that, plus the cams, and you are looking at an explosion.

A forged bottom end? Yeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah... You won't be installing that. And expect to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of like $6-7k for that mod..

I'd tone it down a bit.. Forget the cams, and dial back to a stage 2 or 3. Spend the rest of your $$ on suspension mods and wider wheels/tires, cuz you're going to need them.

Brenspeed is a great place to have this all done, without a doubt. They are tops, and they pay for a night at a hotel for the install, too.

As for the 4.10's - only if you want to spend all day shifting.. My 435 HP rips through 3.55's so fast I wouldn't want a shorter gear..
