Cali HP already has his 326ci up and running. He is putting a big twin turbo kit on kit so for now he is just running N/A to break it in. He made a post on another forum that the car feels the same n/a as it did when he had the saleen blower on it running 9 psi...

That is very very cool. When he gets the turbos on that will be very sick. Your 3.4 twin screw may be the answer though!

I bet it is 8-10 K to have that R & R completely with the big bore stroker.
(Just a guess)

Well the block is 2K and the internals really depend cause parts vary drastically. There is a difference between what yu can get away with and what is the 'best'. On my particular build the parts were...

block - $2000
custom coated and teflon Diamond Pistons .020 over with custom rings and wrist pins - $1800
Manley I beam Rods - $1200
Kellog 3.800 stroke crank - $800
Calico Coatings custom narrowed main bearings - $160.00
MMR rear main covber/block support - $139.99

This is my particular build and I am using some top notch parts. You could do the same build with cheaper parts. I plan on making a lot of power and not messing around so went top of the line with the parts. In addition to this, with ANY build, you are going to want ARP head studs, gaskets, new pump , etc. etc to factor into your cost.

Hmmm, pretty expensive, why not have gotten an 04 Cobra engine and got it to 1000+HP like that?

You really dont have to go that far. Get a intake, tune, gears and keep the OEM tires and wheels on it. You'll be able to smoke em when you need to.
Dont think you can smoke anyone with that.[8D]

Cubic inches my son, cubic inches.... The saying "there's no replacement for displacement" has been around for a long time for a reason...(it's true...)

The romeo block (which I had in my car until recently) can only see a max of 302ci...[8D]

302 to 331 doesn't sound like much on paper but it is a HUGE difference, especially with a big blower on top...[&:]

To give you an idea of how much - with my set-up, each cube over stock nets me about 3hp...

Ahhh, I see, that's a pretty nice upgrade, especially since you can handle a lot more HP while gaining some.

No Flaming needed, but I do have a Valid question.
I am Supercharged.
470 rwhp 450 tq SAE.
OK my question is not about monster power as you can never have enough power but to the effect this guy said a day after day driver. At some point driving a 650-750 hp car will become a pain,(if it is your only transportation)don't you think??
I mean if us FI guys with 450-525 hp can blow the tires loose at free will, how is a 650 pluss car going to drive around in dayly traffic without spinning every where and if in traffic, will there be overheating issues? At some point IMO<< Wouldn't the FUN kinda leave and the dailey enjoyment go away to some point?
You just aren't going to hook up anywhere on the street with that much HP..... so in most cases having it doesn't mean using it and street red light runs, forget it. you will be going every where but forwardif you hit it at a red light LOL .
Again, No Flaming needed, But even I too am curious to when you loose yourself in power and the fun of our cars becomes more of a show car thing?? or 1 day or 2 driver.
