Anyone here with upgraded engine?

Anyone here with upgraded engine?
My idea... similar to the new saleen h302 but i want a more aggressive car.
i want an all engine DD (automatic) that will light the tires up and still be fun for a drag strip once in a while. my daily driving is basically highway between 55-85 most of the time and a little bit but not much of city driving between 30-60.
anyone who has these mods or knows anyone with em please chime in =)
this is my idea... tell me if im on the right track or not.
10.7 comrpession, forged internal, upgraded valve springs, stock cams and a tune of course with stock block.
rear end, 4.10's, MM LCA and probably keeping stock springs/shocks unless someone can recommend otherwise for city driving/low-moderate drag racing.
tires... 18x9 fronts 18x10.5 rears 265/35/18 305/35/18 nitto 555R (im in CA...)
it would most likely get an upgraded stereo system and possible dvd navigation.
ideas/suggestions?
aside from 'use the search bar...'

RE: Anyone here with upgraded engine?
Search is VERY usefull dude .... theres a "650 rwhp DD" thread that may be helpfull for you.
But if you're thinking in paying the enough coin for a stroker kit and blah blah for NA ... atleast consider a Whipple its way cheaper and u'll get more power.

Well, I think he's looking for more power than that. But I will agree that forced induction would be cheaper, unless you want to make more than 500rwhp. Then you will want the forged internals also.

Yeah, there's definitely something cool about knowing you have an all-motor car without "having to resort to" the forced induction option...even if it does cost a bit more. Besides, I'm not afan of supercharger whine.
Anyway, from what I gather, Brenspeed offer Stage II (?) cams that (when combined with aftermarket springs) will make somewhere close to 50 RWHP on their own. That, and a few other "standard" bolt-ons will probably get you easily into the low 13s oer maybe even high 12s.

You want bad *** n/a street power and remain on a 4.6 platform?
EASY...
Boss 4.6 block stroked to a 326ci (that's a 3.750 stroke crank with .005 over pistons)
11:1 compression
Aggressive cams with a tight lsa
4.10 gears
Tokico D spec struts and shocks
good upper and lower c/a's
BMR chromoly panhard bar
One piece DS
PI Multidisc TC for auto and spec clutch/aluminum flywheel for manual (tri-ax or pro 5.0 shifter for manual also)
Good rubber
That car will hang with most of the FI on the stock motor guys out there...
But, if you wanted to be ***** best and didn't care about 'platforms'...
I'd stick a 5.4 in there...
I did notice you say you wanted to stay with the stock block so I assume this is a budget build and in that case I would still do the list I gave you up top with the following changes...
compression - 10:1
stroke - 298ci on the stock block
It would still be a nice little n/a machine but you won't hang with the FI guys without the cubic inches...[8D]

mmmmmmmmmmmm big bore!!!!!!!
Must be very nice to be able to get thosebig cubes in these mod motors.
I am eagerly anticipating the results you guys have with those 326 cubebuilds.
That is the way to go if you're going to do a full build. That block is pretty expensive though - like twice the price of the S197 aluminum block
