Turbo vs. Supercharged Bullitt
Alright as you all can tell I'm new to the forum. I just bought an '08 Bullitt a few weeks ago and 315hp just doesn't seem like enough. I want to put in either a whipple supercharger or a turbo. I want the car to be for the streets. What do you all think?

+1 howarmat
but if you don't agree with howarmat you will then start asking yourself, ok, what KIND of SC...centri, roots or TS? then you will start asking, ok, what Manufacturer of SC?...then you will be asking, ok, how much power doI want to add?
if you search and read you will find the answers faster than if you wait to get 20 posters to this thread

RE: Turbo vs. Supercharged Bullitt
I voted supercharger but honestly I would not modify a bullit like that. I agree a base GT is better for modding.
Here is what I would do if I had a bullit and was dead set on modifying it.
I would not get a whipple (GASP [&:]), Because you would have to lose the strut tower brace with your nice bullit plaque on it.
I would get the Procharger HO. I like this blower because it has a seperate belt for the blower. That is cool. And from what I read it is very easy to install and does not take any modification. I would install the GT-500 fuel pumps and with a Dyno tune you could make around 475rwhp easy. This blower will also compliment the 3.73 gears from the bullit.
Make sure you keep all of your stock parts and at any time you should be able to undo everything you did to install the blower. I would leave the fuel pump as no one would know anyway.
Thats my 2 cents.

RE: Turbo vs. Supercharged Bullitt
didn't modaddict have a good thread about the differences between turbo & s/c and then the different types of s/c... basically, put you towards any twinscrew or the procharger. depending on your eventual goal.. and turbo for non-DDsand mainly for track use, if i remember correctly. mostly due to heat build up while waiting at lights? i don't want to put words in his mouth though.. you should find the thread.. or i'll edit this post and add it in...
