Well guys I am about 96% done with my whipple install and will be finishing it up tomorrow. I am going to be taking it to get dyno tuned on Sat. and then I will be able to drive it once again. I am very excited! I will have pics and hopefully video of it on the dyno soon.
did you do the instal? how was it? how much did you spend? any hidden cost that you didnt plan on???
I can't speak for the OP, but I can tell you my experience. The install is not difficult, but it can be tedious at times. If each step is followed carefully, I have no doubt that any average home mechanic can do the install with the help of a friend for the heavy lifting in a matter of two days. I can't tell you how much I spent, but I can tell you I got a great deal from boostaddict (the poster directly above me in this thread). The only costs that I hadn't planned on was the cost of a few tools I didn't have, and that wasn't much. I also installed gauges and a few other goodies at the same time which drove my total cost into the seven thousand dollar range.
