Kenne Bell Supercharger Thoughts and Info Needed
So I am taking the plunge and going forth with adding a KBSC to my '06 Mustang GT. Anybody out there with this setup? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. How much psi are you guys pushing with this setup? Engine temps? Quarter mile times? Dyno numbers? Hopefully when I get it back I can post some pics. Thanks in advanced.

There's a local guy with one on his '05.. I have no idea the answers to any of your questions though, since you can never get a straight answer out of the guy. His "dyno sheet" has MPH listed across the bottom of it instead of RPM.. LOL!!
It looks cool though, and sounds cool at WOT. I went a little different route, purely a cosmetic decision.

I luvs my KB!. My car stock did a best of 14.2
I am going to run a 11.2 this next trip to the dragstrip after April 3.
I have beaten several GT500s at the track. I have beaten a 2004 Viper on the street with my wife in the car and that is what made paying for the KB worth it!
Oh, and I am still on the original serpentine belt.

I installed my own KB this fall. It took me 3 days. Not difficult ,the install book was about 2 inches thick but very well documented. My car runs perfect at 6 psi on 93 octane non intercooled. No dyno within 5 hours driving time nor do I really need one with tunes KB sent me. Only items I purchased not included in the kit was a gallon of antifreeze and a set of plugs
If you have not read this doc it convinced me that the KB was the right choice for my application.

I have had the KB since November of 06. I recently did an engine build and have switched over to the Whipple 3.4 on my KB manifold. I would suggest that you start out with the new Whipple gen II 2.3. The kit is complete, you won't have to buy the gt 500 fuel pumps (cause it comes with them)and the Whipple runs cooler for very low IAT's...just my .02

If you plan on staying on the stock motor and running conservative (less than 11) psi, then you can't go wrong with any choice you make. The KB is a nice unit at those levels and the 2.6 will make more power than the whipple with a good tune. You can't go wrong with any choice in those power levels actually.
