Are you stock? I ran 9.0 at 81 in the 1/8 with a 2.29 60 ft. when I was stock. You ran 9.7 at 74. Was your car running right. That seems a little off where you should be.

Thanks for the link. I will definitely do some more research... I have time. Hell, I don't even have the car yet! I want the best California-legal system I can get (money is not an issue).

I think Kenne Bell does. And I seem to recall reading that Whipple was going to offer one through Ford Racing Performance Parts (but I haven't seen it yet).

Well, I just read the reviews at carreview.com. Most of the reviews are a year or two old (or more), and many of them had really bad things to say about both ProCharger and Vortech. Could be that both companies have gotten their $hit together in the past couple of years... but maybe not. I'd like to get more current info, especially for 05 Mustang-specific installations. Guess the research continues... [&o]

Maybe we should start a thread dedicated to this topic.

I'm getting my procharger, the installation, and custom tune on a dyno from xlr8 racing.

The guys name is Michael. You can view the site at http://www.xlr8racing.net

He has a few stangs, one of them is a 2005 with a procharger. There are 2 other mustangs on his site with Prochargers. Check them out! The 2005 is not on the site yet because it's not officially released... he's one of the people that got an advance shipment for testing or something like that.

He's getting 445 RWHP with the procharger only. That's about 525 HP at the flywheel.

Procharger recently updated their info on their kit for the 2005 mustang. You can find more info on the kit at http://www.procharger.com

Again I recommend going to a track and talk to the guys that use them. Also check out their performance at the track. Attending an NMRA event would be best... you'll see lots of mustangs with superchargers.

---- Nait... Did you get only one run? If so that's why you're running slower. It took me 3 runs before I learned how to get into the 13's. Basically I was launching to aggressive and spinning tires 1/2 way up the track. [&:] After I learned the launch (2200 rpm or so) I did much better.

What will the stock internals handle as far as power? 525 hp! I thought you couldn't go much more than 450 hp without changing some parts out.

I am very interested in S/Cing but want to get the absolute most out of the engine I can and am waiting to see which one works best and is the best overall deal.

Anybody have a guess on the price? I didn't see it on there. It say's "11 second bolt on." I don't care about the 11 second claim, I know there's more to it (like tires & gears), but if it's a true bolt on then it should work with stock internals, right?
