Yes, I have something similar going on with my '08. A whine that starts after it's warmed up. I think mine does it in 1st, 2nd, and OD. Noticed it at when the car was almost new. Dealer said they couldn't find a problem and said come back if it gets worse. It shifts fine and the problem seems more annoying that fatal. So, unless it gets worse I guess I will live with it. Sucks, but I am not looking forward to letting them rip my new car apart and maybe make it worse. For what it's worth, I feel your pain.
