Was TCS on? I'm pretty sure our TCS algorithm cuts spark to limit power, which shoots some unburned fuel into the exhaust, which causes that backfire. I get them pretty often when TCS kicks in.

I had trouble with that a couple of times after highway driving. Hop on it to get back on and kaboom.....big backfire. I hooked up the SCT and reset everything......no problems since.
