Default New mustang gt??
I was wondering how much does a stock 05-08 mustang gt puts down WHP??
I know a stock one has 300 hp at the crank...

motor trend did a dyno test with a stock 5 spd stang gt- it put down 262 hpat the wheels

yea all stangs are rated around 295-300 crank hp......put down about 245-275 hp to the hweels, 275 is lucky..

250-260 auto
255-265 manual

Dynojet only

hmm.. dyno on mine is 273 and the only mods: corsa axlebacks and 87 gas tune

I doubt it's because the tires are new and I really dount the corsa's did anything.

I'm interested to see what the steeda CAI does when I get that installed and re-tune.

I have an '05 auto.

245 rwhp/257rwtq - stock.
260rwhp/ 283rwtq - custom dyno tune on 87
275rwhp/300rwtq - Steeda CAI with high flow elbow on 93

Thats jsut what Ive read. I dont have any direct evidence of it.
