Default Some problems with my new CAI

Just installed a K&N CAI on my '08 (no tune).. it ran perfect yesterday, today when I started it up, I got a "Check Engine" light, and also.. felt like it was idling a tad low.

Any ideas? Iam leaning towards maybe the MAF got dirty or something along those lines.. anyone have this problem as well or have tips?

Thanks!

what's the OBD trouble code?
i had the k&n too, it ran fine w/out any tune, and coud be dirty maf sensor. did you check all the connections bc my k&n filter kept coming loose the more i ran it hard.

yeah its probably running lean , You can try lift ing the the neg lead for a few minutes then replace it, or goto and auto parts store and getthem to clear and try this but you are probably going to need to recal thecomputer to your new CAI.
get a tune and a handheld programmer. good luck

do the install over again, you can easily have a connection loose

If you overdid the spray on the filter - some could have sucked into your MAF sensor when you ran the car. One time I had troubble codes from my CAI because the seal opened where it connected at the ThrottleBody. +1 on the redo install.

nah the MAF has a nice little arrow pointing which way it goes ;p

gonna take her out now and see whats up.. looks like disconnecting the battery was the fix for it.
