So I want to put my stock H-pipe back in because I got pulled over hear in Cali and got a warning. I went over to the dealership thinking they could do the job real quick. Right now I have my stock mufflers on so I asked them to put back on the stock H-pipe and FRPP stingers. He said that hes going to go ask the tech if he has the time and get a price. He comes back about 10 min later with the price of.......................... $330!!!!!!!!!!!! I could help but crack a smile and laugh a little. I told him I was thinking of $150 at the highest. He went on giving me the whole ohhh well we have to put all the sensors back in blah blah blah. I told him I did it by myself on jackstands in an hour and there is only 3 sensors switch over. He really didn't say much and kinda shrugged his shoulders. I let him know I knew he was trying to screw me and I would be back. I just went over to the local muffler shop and they took it off and put the mufflers on for $125.

Wish I could make half of that doing an easy install at a shop. Dealerships always trying to rip someone off. Did you get a fix it ticket? If so, couldn't you switch the h back and pay the shop a little to certify your repair?
