I’m 25 and I pay 540 with state farm for every six month, have a few tickets on my record and even my licensee suspended for 6 month (two ticket within a year).

In Maryland there is something called Insurance of Last Resort. MAIF, Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund. I had to take it when I got in an accident. It turned out that my monthly payments for MAIF were mad cheap! Cheaper than those corporate BS companies. Look to see if your state has an insurance of last resort and see if you can lie your way in.

If not your style, then try finding a company where you can combine all your insurance and save through discounts. Usually discounts have these:

Renters
Home Owners
Life
Mortgage
Good Payer (pay on time)
Auto debit from Checking account (Do it)
3 mile to work or school (Lie)
Anti-Lock Brakes (if you don't have, LIE, it is a huge discount)
Some others, ask...

Thanks for all your responses. I guess I'm going to have to do some homework and see which is best for me. $3,200 just seemed like an absurd amount.

just fyi, its possible if you have a claim, they find you lied about something, they can require you backpay unpaid premium before they will pay for the claim.. the rules on thiswill vary from state to state though, some states may make it so the insurance company doesn't even have to pay the claim.

I pay $120 per month with State Farm. But that's on my 08 Stang and my wife's 06 Grand Cherokee Limited. I also have $100 deductible Collision and zero deductible Comprehensive, so I pay a bit more for that.

I'm also 36 years old and been accident free for the last 16+ years and I give the tickets, not get them.

P.S. My 07 Harley FatBoy is insured with a different company because State Farm, even tho they have great rates for auto/home, they do not like motorcycles for some reason.
