Default Weird mpg?

I was sitting in my driveway tonight going through my cds, and while I sat there with the car idling the mpg reading slowing started going down. I didn't sit there long enough for it to stop falling, but by the time I shut the car off it was reading somewhere around 11.5 mpg. Why would it do this? Any thoughts?

Hi

The same happens to my car, whats really amazing is that the louder i play the shaker 1000 and the higher i turn up the AC the MPG gets even worse.

Im concerned ive got one of the lemons that seem to be running rampant on here lately !!!

Should i trade it in for a Corolla or a Civic hybrid ??

Please help

Steve

Wow, that is just like the case with PC users----some of them just shouldn't be using PC's.

You there, neodymiumex, turn off the car, remove the keys, and hand them over to the Mustang Driver Fitness Police!

Just kidding. I like asking stupid questions because it makes everyone else feel smarter.....
