going to the track tomorrow, UPDATE!!

RE: going to the track tomorrow, question
Definitely time to get some good tires. With that much power you'll need them to get it to the ground and make the car hook.
But good times with street tires. The best I could do on street tires was 11.9's.

RE: going to the track tomorrow, question
Your runs are almost identical to mine, but I actually got a 2.0 60 ft on my first run. the traps in the 1/8 and 1/4 are almost identical. You can tell you were spinning before the 1/8.

Well i got only two runs tonight. traction was a big issue. I would come out the hole easy and slowly give more throttle then it would roast the tires switch to second still roasting the tires. I had to let off and get straight again then get back into it.
1st run
60ft......2.24
330ft.....5.83
1/8........8.58
1/8mph...91.97
1/4.........12.80
1/4mph.....118.08
2nd run
60ft.......2.38
330ft.......6.08
1/8..........8.83
1/8mph......91.93
1/4...........13.04
1/4mph.......117.99

RE: going to the track tomorrow, question
Yeah our runs are very close. I need to get a set of rims with a 10in wide in the rear with a good tire. I wonder what Heavyg72 ran friday he said he was going to his track

11.90 @120 with 1.77 60ft on street tires. You have to know how to leave. BTW I ran 32 PSI all the way around.

RE: going to the track tomorrow, question
Didn't know what your trans was but just showing the realm of possibility. My car went from a 1.97 60ft to a 1.77 after the supercharger. Same tires both times. I don't know why but it just leaves harder without spinning with the S/C. The car seemed to spin more N/A

RE: going to the track tomorrow, question
I bolted my M/T ET streets on yesterday to practice my launches and 60'with the whipple and I agree with this statement.. It's wierd but with more power/torque it doesn't spinn bad at all. Or bog ..It just pulls
