How much does the intercooler effect on the front clearance or is it the same?
Doesnt effect clearance at all, fits rightt between the crash bumper and the rad. What sucks now is that 5 out of 8 plugs left the eletrode sleave in thehead! 3 came out with o problem the other 5 felt thesame coming out with littleresistance but left the eletrode sleeve in the head. I followed the new TSB to the letter and it still happened. This really sucks, I have a complete supercharger on the car and I cant even crank it. Anyone know whereI can get the removal tool. My dealer tells me they cant sell me one.

Someone on here just bought one, do a search. Maybe he'll sell it to you.

When are all the guys who have put up with this engineering mistake on Fords part gonna start a class action? It should not be a nightmare to change spark plugs for Christs sake.

edit- If it happens to me I will be the first to call my lawyer.

Do we have any lawyers in this forum who want to take it on and make some money?

When I talked to the dealer today he said that it would not be a warrenty issue because the plugs are not suppose to be changed for 100k. He said I shouldnt be changing them before those miles. I guess I'll be ordering the tool and waiting for it to get here. I wonder if I could use a screw extractor bit (easy out) to get the sleeve out?

I had heard somone say somthing about cranking the engine with the working plugs and the ones that are stuckwill pop out like a cork. I dont know if you can due this running only eight cylinders but its a thought.

I just finished my paxton install today .I had some trouble with the spark plugs myself but none broke thank god. I'll get some pics up this weekend. Hope the rest of the install goes good for ya the only other problem i had other than the spark plugs was trying to hook up the bypass valve hoses to the air intake took me forever it was good to have another person holding it while you muscle it on. Oh btw when you extend your maf wires make sure you solder the wires or it will throwa code at ya when u go over 5 mph, I used connecters because i didn't have solder at the time and that doesn't work.
