Default Lowering Springs Ruin Shocks??

Hey Everyone- I have been wanting to get some lowering springs for my 07 GTandwould like toknow how well the Shocks will hold up over time. I originally wanted to either get the FRPP Handling Package or the Eibach Pro Sytem Plus with Springs, Shocks, and Swaybars. But to be honest I will more than likely never go to a track, and I dont take turns very hard, my thrill is acceleration. So I figured I would save my cash for FI, and just get some lowering springs so I dont sit so high. Does anybody know ifthe stock shocks will be okay with just the springs or how long I can expect them to last?? I appreciate any help, thanks!

I have had my springs on for almost three years. I have the Sports the ride on the stocked struts was not to bad at first. Around about 6 months time they started to get a little to rough for me. So I broke down andboughtsome D-Specs they made all the difference in the world. You should stick with the pro-kit over the sports if you do not plan on replacing the struts.

I have had the stock suspension with my Steeda springs for about 3 years with no problems what-so-ever.

ThanksEveryone,I really appreciate the Feedback. Looks like I'll be getting the Eibach Pro Kit Springs, and I guess if I ever feel like I need more I can always keep upgrading! Now I'll have to just work on not scraping the crap out of my splitter. Thanks again!
